Tara Elizabeth Conner is the current Miss USA. This beauty queen
born in Kentucky on December 18, 1985 very nearly became the first
Miss USA since 1957 to be dethroned.
However, it appears that the magnanimity of a certain Mr. Trump has
let her retain her title and still harbor dreams of appearing on the
covers of Vogue and Playboy… hey! That’s just our guess. For now
though, it appears this wholesome looking wench may have to check
into some rehab center to deal with some “personal demons” as she
put it.
Tara had won a clutch of titles
before she won the Miss USA 2006. These included the Miss Kentucky
Teen USA 2002 and Miss Kentucky USA 2006. At the time of her
appearing for Miss USA, Tara was studying for a degree in Business
Administration from Somerset Community College.
Tara’s story has followed a predictable graph; first we have the
feel-good all-American thing about a waitress coming good and then
just when you begin to feel good about it you learn that this babe
has been drinking underage and has also tested positive for cocaine,
and keeping with the trend of the past couple of years you find that
she has a thing for girls, now she hasn’t as yet made it to the
David Letterman show but we’ll let you know when she does. Right now
she probably doesn’t have much to talk about except that she has
kissed Miss Teen USA Katie Blair in public.
But all’ well that ends well and inspite of her reputation of being
a small-town girl who has been unable to keep the party animal
inside her on leash in the big city, Tara has a second chance at
fame and fortune. We wish her all the best.
